Akoya Oxygen
Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Akoya Oxygen is a modern residential community that was completed in 2018. The project is developed by Damac properties and the main attraction is a Tiger Woods Design golf course. The project is located to the south of DubaiLand.

The project is connected to the metro through the 2 stations of Financial Center and Emirates Towers which provide the residents with a hassle-free connection to the rest of Dubai.

Amenities provided to the residents include fresh food markets where they can find fresh fruits, vegetable, fish and meat products all year long along with a luxury spa complex with pools where they can practice yoga and other meditation activities. The restaurants in the district are amazing and are designed in a sustainable way as the interiors use eco-responsible FSC certified wood and Energy Star qualified windows as well as bio-degradable tableware to minimize the risk on the environment and lower its footprint. The luxuries also include Vista Lux which is a waterfront hotel and retail facility with a wide range of shopping options. The community is designed in a similar way to Madinat Jumeirah which means that residents will be able to move around the district using the monorail and waterways in the near future. The district was supposed to be home for the Dubai Rainforest which was going to be the region’s first rainforest which was planned for the Expo 2020 however the plan has been scraped and the rainforest never saw the light as the Green Planet in City Walk took its place. The rainforest was supposed to be a jungle where visitors can enjoy and learn about the region’s habitat, flora, and sauna, relax in the rainforest spa, rock pools, and baths.
