Dubai is a fascinating figment of imagination that metamorphosed into reality. It is the star of the UAE that continues to grow and charm. Now the bustling emirate is ready for World Expo 2020 with surreal real estate projects.
“Catalyst”, “boom” and “turning point” – these are some of the words and phrases developers and market analysts have used to describe the upcoming Dubai Expo 2020. This expo is to be hosted by Dubai, in the United Arab Emirates between 20th October 2020 and 10th April 2021. Investors are claiming that this expo will turn the Emirate economy around and will bring in business worth $16.9 billion in gross value for UAE’s economy.
1. Meydan One Mall
Dubai’s malls are famous across the globe, but this one is not like the usual. This mega mall will be one of the city’s biggest with more than 550 shops and 190 restaurants. But this is not why it is being talked about so much.
The mall will have its own go-karting track and a 1-kilometre-long ski slope (yes skiing in Dubai!), and there is more. There will be a hypermarket, a beautiful fountain and a cineplex too. The mall will be a part of Meydan One city which is spread over an area of 3.67 million square feet.
2. Zombie Apocalypse Park
A unique attraction will soon be opened to the public in 2020. The zombie-themed park will be located at the Night Market in Deira district of Dubai. It will be spread over an area of 65,000 square feet.
The park will have live shows, spooky events, escape games, a virtual-reality cinema that will be powered by a fascinating glow-in-the-dark technology. The park will also have a haunted house, a haunted corn maze, axe throwing, paintball, laser tag, archery, zombie runs, trampolines, target shooting and a lot more! Excited yet?
3. Dubai Creek Tower
Know all about Burj Khalifa? If the tower completes in time for Expo 2020, it will become the tallest tower in the world, having a height of more than 2717 feet. The tower that will look like a minaret will also have a beacon of light on top.
It is being built at the cost of AED 3.67 billion by Emaar and will offer stunning, never-before-seen, 360-degree, views of the city of Dubai. The construction is estimated to be completed this year. The tower that is located in the Dubai Creek Harbour is already generating a lot of media buzz.
